Kutus Stage Fuel Demos Amid Nationalwide Shutdown Today

 Residents of Kutus Town take to the streets as frustration over anomalous skyrocketing of fuel prices boils over. Roads are blocked  and bonfires on the road in protest against the high cost of living. 

This comes amid nationalwide shutdown today over fuel prices crisis where all operations have been downed especially transport industry. The situation may further escalate if the government doesn't address the situation.

Only motorbikes are left to ferry pillion passengers to their respective destinations.

Schools are also reportedly closed due to the shutdown as some issued school closure today following transport disruption  which would affect picking and dropping of kids to and from school. The communication was made via school WhatsApp groups.


Businesses are reported closed in most parts of the country as protestors engage in the nationalwide demos pushing for sanity in fuel industry and harmonization of fuel prices to ease burden for common mwananchi who is feeling the blunt of the harsh economy.

Crowds are surging in the streets express their frustrations and anger to the government over draconian fuel levies and high cost of living.
