Protestors in Kagumo Town, Kirinyaga County took seige of Kagumo Police Station and commandeered the station's OCS.
They later forced him to chant 'Wantam' slogans in the streets of the town.

Subsequently, they uprooted the station's signpost in what seemed to have overpowered the police.
Later on they went to Kerugoya town as they staged their demos.
Tension has been volatile in the towns of Kirinyaga County.
In Kutus police had a rough time having running battles with the protestors.
Protestors at one instance vandalized Kutus Police Base where they uprooted iron sheets of the station.
They also made away with roadblocks which they used to block roads within the town as police repulsed them using teargas canisters.
The same escalated in other towns of the county.
