VIDEOS: ALCOHOL LOOTED AS TRUCK CRASHES ALONG MAGADI ROAD
Traffic momentarily came to a standstill along Magadi Road near Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA) after an alcohol transporting truck was involved in an accident prompting locals and other road users to rush to the scene and part way with crates of free alcohol, an African culture for wolfing down freebies especially edibles.
Almost all the cargo in the collapsed truck was looted as imbibers engaged in a drinking spree.
They could be seen gulping down bottles of the liquor without minding dangers of broken pieces of bottles.
Some had to pack the loot in to their vehicles to sell to pubs and thirsty imbibers.
However no casualty was reported in the incidence.
