VIDEOS: Tragic Human-Wildlife Conflict In Meru As Elderly Man Gets Killed By An Elephant
Distressing videos have surfaced on social media platforms, highlighting the severe consequences of human-wildlife conflict in Meru. The footage shows an elderly man identified as Phillip from Muliuntuine Village, Amwathi Ward Igembe North, Meru County being chased and tragically killed by the jumbo.

The videos were taken from a phone by one of the witnesses of the gruesome and macabre incident as shared by Morgan Media.
The animal used its tusks to forcefully gore the man down, trampled and poked on him using the tusks leading to his untimely death as locals watched helplessly.
This comes barely 2 days after a 46-year-old man tragically lost his life after being attacked by an elephant in Masinga, Machakos County .
