Sorrow has engulfed Daraja Mbili estate in Kisii Town as a gas cylinder exploded claiming the life of a woman and leaving her husband badly injured.
The woman was burnt beyond recognition while her husband and several other occupants in the plot were badly injured by the fiery flames in the inferno.
In a gory video the distraught husband could be seen badly injured watching as the fire consumed his lovely wife in the house with little efforts to salvage her from the flames.

Property worth thousands of shillings was also lost in the evening fire as members of public battled with the flames at the upper floor of the storey plot.
Fire fighters could not access the area on time to quell the flames.
The charred remains of the woman were later picked by the police as they launch more probe on the fire incident.
The husband and others who were injured in the aftermath are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
