A body of a middle aged man is being spotted by passersby and motorists dumped in Murubara River in Mwea, Kirinyaga County along Mwea-Embu highway.
The body is said to have been dumped in the shallow river since the waters can not drown a mass of human body.
It's suspected the deceased was killed elsewhere and dumped in the area from the bridge.

Cases of bodies being dumped in rivers have been rampant in the recent days especially when the victims get abducted.
Police and locals have retrieved the body from the water and took it to the morgue for identification as they probe on the cause of the deceased's death.
