- Grace Migwi gave her daughter Shirleen Wambui salon money as she left home in the morning for work
- When she returned in the evening, she found her teen daughter had not returned home, leaving her worried
- The Kirinyaga mum called the salon, which she presumed her Form Three daughter had gone, only for the salonist to tell her she had not even opened her business that day
Grace Migwi is looking for her firstborn child, Shirleen Wambui, who she last saw on Friday, January 3. The mother of two said she left her daughter and son at home as she headed to work as her custom.
"We had agreed she would go to the salon. I gave her money for the hair makeover. I was certain we would reunite again in the evening after work," she narrated.
She noted her teen daughter, who was joining Form Three at Mugumo Girls High School, had expressed her desire to visit a children's home and donate the clothes she no longer wore.
Her mysterious disappearance has been widely shared on social media platforms which you can use to share to your friends who may aid in finding her.

According to neighbours, Wambui left home around 3:30pm.
"When I returned, I did not find her. I waited, but there was no sign of her. Since she has no phone, I could not check in with her on her whereabouts. I called the salon where I presumed she went, but the salonist told me she was attending a funeral, so her business remained closed. When I checked Wambui's closet, I found the only remaining clothes were those she loved to wear. I have informed the police, but there has been no update or fresh details so far," she added
Incase you spot Wambui you can contact her mum on 0728136111, or report to the local authority or nearest police station.
